The Economic Development division of Growth Management focuses on assisting businesses in Ocala.

As of April 2022, the division manages different agreements worth over $9.5 million, which assist large and small businesses. Small businesses may receive up to $24,999 in reimbursement of capital improvement costs. The Economic Investment Program can provide larger grants.

Staff members work closely with the Ocala Metro Chamber and Economic Partnership.
