This division provides comprehensive planning expertise and support to the Ocala City Council, the Planning & Zoning Commission, and the Board of Adjustment.

Submit your question using the form below and include the property address and a brief description of what you’re proposing. Our team will review your request and respond within two business days.
Application Deadlines:
All applications requiring review by the Planning & Zoning Commission (P&Z) or the Zoning Board of Adjustment (BoA) must be submitted no later than 60 days prior to the scheduled hearing (see the schedule below). Incomplete submissions will not be processed until all required materials have been provided. Staff may request additional information as needed to ensure thorough and accurate review.
- Planning & Zoning Commission (P&Z): Meets on the second Monday of each month
- Board of Adjustment (BoA): Meets on the third Monday of each month
