2026 Festival at Fort King

Experience 1800s Florida at the Festival at Fort King in Ocala.
Step back in time at the Festival at Fort King, a two-day immersive event in Ocala, Florida, celebrating 19th-century life and history. This family-friendly festival features historic-themed crafts, interactive games, hands-on workshops, living history demonstrations, artisan vendors, delicious food and drinks, and much more.
Perfect for history buffs, families, and cultural enthusiasts, the Festival at Fort King offers a unique opportunity to explore Florida’s past in a fun and engaging way.
Student Day
This year's festival will feature a students-only day on Friday, Dec. 4. Open to all ages and schools, the Student Day will feature demonstrations, hands-on activities, and unique opportunities to learn about the history of Fort King. Cost is $3 per student, however space is limited and registration is required.

- Time period weaponry, hand forged knives, flint knapped items

- Traditional ceramics
- Metal working
- Pioneer toys and games
- Handmade musical instruments
- Food trucks
Festival Parking Information
Free shuttle parking is available at the Duke Energy power line field, approximately a quarter mile east of the fort. The field is located between NE 43rd Avenue and NE 44th Avenue on the north side of E Fort King Street. Free shuttles and trams will be running continuously throughout the event for pickups and drop-offs. An ADA tram will be available for handicapped or disabled guests.
