Our soccer, baseball, softball, and football fields are equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a seamless playing experience. Types of Fields & Specifications: Our athletic fields include soccer, baseball, softball, football, and more. Each field is designed to meet specific sport requirement and has specific dimensions, markings, and amenities. These may include goalposts, dugouts, bleachers, scoreboards, lighting, and more. 

Availability & Reservation Process: Our athletic fields are available for rental throughout the year, but availability may vary based on the season, maintenance schedules, and other events happening at the facility. Reservations must be made a minimum of one (1) week in advance, and it is recommended to make a reservation well in advance, especially for popular time slots.

To rent a field, fill out the Field Rental Form and email to Athletics@OcalaFL.gov. For questions or availability, call 352-368-5525.

Rental Fees: The rental fees for athletic fields depend on factors such as the duration of rental, the size of the field, and type of use. Games, tournaments, and concessions are to be negotiated per event and are approved by the Recreation and Parks Director. Additional fees may apply.

• Rental: $10/hour without lights (additional $15/hour with lights)
• Baseball/softball field lining: $75 (Games and tournaments only)
• Football/soccer/lacrosse field lining: $150 (Games and tournaments only)

Rules and Regulations: Certain rules and regulations must be followed while using the athletic fields to ensure fairness, safety, and proper maintenance. These rules may include guidelines for field usage, conduct, and clean-up responsibilities.

Play on City of Ocala athletic fields? All youth sports teams must have a permit before using city facilities.
