Central Lines Maintenance

All personnel in the Central Lines Maintenance Division are certified by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), ensuring a high standard of expertise and compliance. The team utilizes advanced technologies, including remotely operated inline TV cameras, to inspect and assess the condition of the sewer system. Additionally, Vactor trucks are employed for a variety of essential tasks related to both water and sewer system maintenance.

The Central Lines Maintenance Division maintains, repairs, and replaces:

  • Over 512 miles of potable water lines
  • 4,000 fire hydrants
  • 355 miles of gravity sewer lines
  • 98 miles of sewer force mains
  • 50 miles of reclaimed water lines
  • 7,654 manholes
