Ocala Electric Utility (OEU) is a locally owned and operated municipal utility serving the City of Ocala, Florida. We provide safe, reliable, and affordable power to more than 59,000 homes and businesses across our 160-square-mile service area. Our infrastructure includes over 1,200 miles of power lines, more than 40,000 power poles, and 20 substations.
At OEU, we live by our C.A.R.E. philosophy (Communities Are the Responsibility of Everyone). We actively connect employees with programs, projects, and organizations that address community needs and make a positive impact. Through these efforts, we support non-profit organizations that promote public health, safety, education, environmental stewardship, economic growth, and youth development.
We are proud to be your hometown public power provider and remain committed to serving you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
