Ocala Electric Utility offers rebates to residential customers who purchase qualifying ENERGY STAR© appliances. Approved rebates will appear as a credit on your Municipal Services Statement and may take up to 30 days to process. To view the list of eligible appliances and apply, please refer to the OEU Rebate Application.

Rebate Amounts: 

$75 - $450 depending on the type of Energy Star© appliance purchased.

How to Participate: 

After making a qualified purchase, download the rebate form, print it out, and carefully fill in all the necessary details. Submit the completed rebate application and a copy of the paid receipt showing brand and model numbers to:

Terms and Conditions:

• The equipment must be installed in a permanent residence receiving Ocala Electric Utility residential electric service.
• To be eligible for rebates, purchased equipment must be Energy Star© qualified and currently listed on the Energy Star website - http://www.energystar.gov/products.
• Rebate applications must be received within 90 days of the appliance purchase date.
• Refrigerators or freezers must be full-sized as defined by Energy Star (7.75 cubic feet or greater volume).
• Rebates cannot exceed the total installed cost for the appliances, which must be new not used.
• For a rebate to be applied, the date of purchase and the brand and model number of equipment must be shown on the receipt and accompany the application.
• For replacement of existing appliances, all new construction is excluded.
• Applications must be completed entirely for rebates to be applied.
• Rebates will not be paid to the equipment vendor or the installation contractor.
• Proof of installation is required.
• Rebates are subject to change without notice and are subject to approval.
